Baan Khon Piak Primary School

Located in the Xaignabouli district, this school provides education to a young community that was only established in 1984. In 1995, the villagers (belonging to the Prai ethnic minority group) had built this school with local materials and some zinc provided by the Laotian government for the roof. Despite the Laotian government's efforts in developing the village, the villagers are still very poor. Lacking in construction materials and expertise, the building often requires repairs.

We will construct a building with 5 classrooms that are equipped with furniture, four toilets and a water system. The villagers will assist in the process and a professional construction team will manage the actual work.
