Many migrant families had been settling down in Mae Hong Son province, especially in the Thung Kong Mu, Nar Ma Pin and Sob Soi villages. As of end 2009, more than 100 children, aged three to five years old, have no nursery school to attend in the area. Hence, we had supported the construction of a nursery school with a kitchen for the community.

Located in the Thung Kong Mu village, 65% of the children studying in the nursery are from migrant families and the remaining 35% are from poor Thai families. The community and local government are responsible for the school and are providing food, milk, administration expenses, and other management fees to the school.
