Located in a small and isolated area that is surrounded by huge forests, this village cannot be accessed during the rainy season, as the roads would be flooded and muddy. Being a poor community, they had built a simple wooden structure with thatched roof for the school. In 2008, the district’s Child Development Association provided a zinc roof, wooden walls and some desks for the school.

We supported the completion of the school and financed a cement floor and installation of doors and windows. A well and toilets were also constructed and furniture were provided for the classrooms. The Cambodian government provides teaching materials but the villagers are paying for the teachers.
